So, here I am, blogging...
I'm doing this as an assignment for the ICTCM conference that I am attending in St. Louis, MO. As I understand it, this is supposed to be a place where I can put out my opinion, my thoughts, etc...to be honest, I'm not sure about this! I have a tendency to say too much sometimes, and once you write it down, it's there for the whole e-world to see. And really, who wants to know what I have to say anyways??? I guess we'll see.

I started this blog as part of a training, but then it ended up becoming a blog about my feelings surrounding my mom's death. It has been very good for me to get my feelings out, even if nobody reads it.

- We have been married for just almost 19 years now. We were pretty young when we got married, but we knew it was what we wanted to do and what were were committed to, so at the tender ages of 17 and 21 we hit the road, went to Coeur D'Alaine, ID and got married. I (chairsty) can't imagine what people thought! Any how, we always knew we would adopt, always. It was never in our thoughts to have kids of our "own." We finally decided to get serious about adopting after our church partnered with an orphanage in Ethiopia. So, two years ago we decided if we were going to have kids, we better have a house and we built a house. Now we are on to building our family :) We "plan" to adopt two boys in the 5 to 7 year old range from Ethiopia, but God's plans our not always what we expect, so we are open to whatever HE has for us.

blogging is like hosting a morning talk show. you don't have to talk about anything, but if you want to increase your audience all you have to do is say the most ridiculous controverisal thing you can about anything.
anyhow, i created this new profile mainly so you could see a picture, since that was kind of the point originally. i can't promise i'll always remember to use this one . . .
I love to hear what you have to say. You are so smart. I love calling you and asking things I don't know. So now you can say things here that i never knew. And maybe i wont have to call for those things..HAHAHA. I love learning new things about life and you. Love You Sister. Keep blogging. You're good at it.
