Discrete Class

Okay, so I have started a new class and I am already behind! I am excited about this class--Discrete Math for Teachers (or something along those lines). I noticed that there are a few people whose names are familiar, but I have no face to put with their names, so I am going to try to open this up for others. Let's see if it works, I have no idea how to blog, I just started this! So, here's the charge, if you are in my class, feel free to post your comments and a picture, maybe we can get to know each other a little better.

PS--I also learned about wikis...I don't know if that would be a better avenue for this. If you have any thoughts, just send them out to me!

Ok, I will jump in and see if we can get this "blogging" thing that the kids are talking about rolling!

My name is Eric Gilbertsen, and I teach at the College of Technology, Montana State University - Billings, or COTMSUB. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest (Go Mariners!), graduating from Cleveland HS (Seattle) and University of Washington (B.A. in Society & Justice). Whilst growing up, I engaged in the family business of commercial fishing for salmon in south-eastern Alaska. It really isn't as romantic as it looks, but it did give me an appreciation of any job that doesn't involve wearing rubber clothing or being pelted with jellyfish.
I'll add more as time goes on. Have a great day!!

hey, it's brent. i have a blog on here, and it's actually possible to have several "authors" of a blog if you just have their e-mail addresses. i don't know much about wiki's so they might be easier. I need to take a good picture to send out somehow.
